10th sept 2011 Clifton Rangersv AFC Blackpool

The first game of the season for the boys playing some great football should have scored after a minute, so unlucky not to be 2-0 up after the first ten minutes but it was not to be, we could not find the net. At half time it was 0-0.

Second half the game was equal both teams having chances we had a corner and hit the crossbar. From the kick Clifton then went down the other end of the pitch and
scored, then straight from the kick off scored again. We eventually lost 4-0 but the lads did not deserve to lose by that score. It was one of those days where the ball would not go in for us.

The second game was an excellent game to watch from start to finish both teams giving 100% but dont know how we only came away with a draw in that game
being the far better team. The game ended up 1-1 at the finish. We have to take our chances when in front of goal. It was though, the first time they have played 20minutes each way in a match.

So every credit to you all and we are quite confident you will do well this year mick & liam.
